Tim Henley – Cannabis Industry Strategist, Advocate & Innovator
Tim Henley is a pioneering figure in the UK cannabis sector, with a career defined by regulatory influence and patient-centred innovation.
Entering the industry in 2016 by founding CannaBlyss, a CBD import business that navigated the turbulent early landscape of cannabinoid commerce. When platforms like PayPal and Google suspended payment and advertising services for CBD, Tim responded by being a founder Director of the Cannabis Trades Association (CTA),.
In 2017, Tim joined Namaste Technologies as Products Buyer for the UK’s largest dry herb vaporiser retailer, driving vape sales and consumer engagement in the fast-evolving cannabis space.
Following the UK’s legalisation of medical cannabis in November 2018, Tim joined Canmart, helping to import some of the first prescription cannabis flowers into the country. His work supported early patient access and positioned Canmart as a trusted supplier in the newly regulated market.
In 2022, Tim started building Cannim UK operations through the Lumir brand, building the brand through patient engagement, academic collaboration, and clinical excellence — culminating in the founding of Lumir Clinic, the UK’s only cannabis clinic operating from within a university setting. This unique model bridged clinical care, research, and education, advancing both patient outcomes and public understanding of the endocannabinoid system – the body's engine management system and developed the Lumir Life Effects as a plan for health span wellness.
Leaving Lumir, Tim became the Development and Strategy Director for MedBud.wiki the UK's leading and most trusted resource for Patients looking to Access CBPM's in the UK
