Speaking on Police, medicinal cannabis and driving
Richard is a retired Detective Chief Superintendent and former head of the Thames Valley Police Drug Squad. He served for thirty years in a wide variety of roles including tacking organised crime, covert intelligence and community policing. He was a Police Gold Commander. Richard is the author of the NPCC Guidance on Medical Cannabis. He is the national police representative on the CQC Drugs Group and National Secretary of the Association of Police Controlled Drug Liaison Officers. He was awarded a Queens Police Medal (QPM) in 2021.
