Piernicola Pedicini is an Italian politician and member of the European Parliament since 2014. He is a member of the Committee on Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs, and a substitute member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety. He was one of the co-sponsors of the Resolution on the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes voted in the European Parliament in February 2019. From 2008 to 2014, he worked as Medical Physicist at the Department of Radiation Oncology of the Institute for cancer treatment and research (IRCCS) CROB in Rionero in Vulture, Potenza
