Philip has been active in the medical cannabis space since 2018, initially overseeing the development and build-out of large-scale cannabis production facilities in Europe and later taking responsibility for the commercial distribution of medical cannabis across multiple EU countries.
In 2021, Philip joined Cantourage as Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership, the company has built a first-of-its-kind market access platform for cultivators from around the globe, expanded rapidly across Europe, and established itself as a key player in Europe’s medical cannabis industry. Cantourage went public on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in 2022, underlining its ambition to scale responsibly while improving patient access to high-quality cannabinoid medicines.
Philip holds degrees in industrial engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and in economics from the University of Sydney. He regularly speaks on European cannabis regulation, supply chain innovation, and strategies for navigating complex regulatory environments.
