‘The companies attracting serious capital are those with the right certification, diversified customer bases…’
Speaking on Isles of Opportunity: Where Innovators Can Still Win in the UK Cannabis Market
Patrick is the cofounder of Odin, an investment platform used by thousands of VCs & angel investors to administer their funds, syndicates and individual investments. Founders use Odin to raise capital from their communities and roll smaller investors into a single, tax efficient vehicle, keeping their cap table clean and simplifying governance.
Patrick started his career in consumer goods at Pernod Ricard.
After a stint in Russia working for the trade department of the Irish embassy, where he supported FMCG businesses from Ireland with market entry, and an adventure building a Russian vodka brand, he joined Crowdcube, where he helped hundreds of startups raise capital from crowds of retail investors.
He then moved into corporate venture capital at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, before launching Odin in 2021.
Patrick is an angel investor himself in many companies spanning consumer goods, software and hardware.
English-born, of Irish descent, Patrick is a Trinity College Dublin alumnus. He speaks fluent Russian & French, and is an avid (if mediocre) surfer.
