Since August 2022, Mike has been CEO of the Cannabis Industry Council, the leading UK membership organisation for the prescription cannabis, industrial hemp, and consumer CBD sectors.
Mike’s background is primarily in trade associations, having also worked in senior marketing, communications, and public affairs roles in the energy, water, and education sectors. He has also worked overseas for three years as a journalist.
Additionally, Mike has previously worked for an MP in Westminster, as well as a number of political think tanks. Since May 2023, he has been an elected District Councillor at South Oxfordshire District Council.
