Ludovic Mendes is a French politician and member of the National Assembly representing Moselle’s 2nd constituency since 2017. A member of Renaissance (formerly La République En Marche!), he began his political journey with the Socialist Party before joining Emmanuel Macron’s movement in 2016. In Parliament, Mendes serves on the Committee on Legal Affairs and is known for his work on secularism, cannabis regulation, and combating anti-religious acts. He co-founded a working group on Islam and played a key role in shaping policy on CBD legalisation. Mendes is considered part of the progressive wing of his party.
