Jürgen Bickel is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of STORZ & BICKEL GmbH, a manufacturer of premium, high-quality, and certified vaporisers.
He holds a degree in civil engineering. Prior to his career in the cannabis industry, he acted as an international development worker in Peru, where he was involved in a development project for drinking water supply and wastewater treatment in different cities like Chiclayo, Ayacucho, and Tumbes.
In 2002, Jürgen Bickel and Markus Storz founded STORZ & BICKEL in Tuttlingen, Germany. Together, they established a rapidly growing, international business with highly demanded products.
STORZ & BICKEL is the market leader in premium vaporizers and renowned for their high-quality products. In 2009, the company obtained their license as a medical device manufacturer and later introduced the world’s first medical cannabis vaporizers, the VOLCANO MEDIC, and the MIGHTY MEDIC. In doing so, they provided the only validated application method for the administration of cannabis flowers, which was crucial for the overall acceptance of cannabis as medicine.
