Speaking on Innovation in Cannabis: How regulation shapes cannabis forms
Dr. Hana Hallaj is a Berlin-based cannabis executive, entrepreneur, and researcher working at the intersection of international trade, regulation, and medical cannabis innovation. At the core of her work, she serves as Global Sales Director at Safricanna, where she focuses on bringing high-quality African medical cannabis flower to patients and markets across Europe and the UK. Her role centers on building trusted commercial relationships, opening new market opportunities, and connecting compliant African supply with established European demand.
In parallel, Dr. Hallaj is the founder of The Facilitator, a platform through which she supports strategic partnerships, cross-border business development, and investment opportunities across the global cannabis industry, including the development of cannabis oil extraction projects in both Africa and Europe. She holds a PhD in cannabis innovation from Technische Universität Berlin, with research focused on regulation, market development, and innovation systems in emerging cannabis sectors.
