As one of the senior prescribers in the UK, Dr David Tang is routinely involved in the start up of new clinics as well as the eduation of new generations of cannabis prescribers.
He recognises the deep gap in medical regulation of prescribing cannabis as well as a lack of a unifed prescribing pathway for patients within the UK.
For this reason he has developed Cannprescribe, an educational programme that provides prescribers with deeper scientific and clinical rationale with which to justify their prescription choices, often in the face of patients who being more experienced with cannabis can own the clinician-patient relationship in a way that is unfamiliar to the clinician.
