Christian Werz

Christian Werz joined the Federal Office of Public Health in September 2019. His main focus is on the execution of the national narcotics law (pilot trials) and the future regulation of Canabis in Switzerland. Furthermore, he was involved in the elaboration of the law changes related to Cannabis for recreational and medical purposes. Before joining the FOPH, he worked as product manager in the pharmaceutical industry.

Christian Werz holds a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from ETH Zürich.
