Benjamin-Alexandre Jeanroy

CEO, AUGUR ASSOCIATES

Benjamin-Alexandre Jeanroy has been the co-founder and CEO of Augur Associates since December 2018, a Paris-based consulting firm specialising in the legal cannabis industry. With a background in international and peace policy, Benjamin previously served as a consultant for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), where he gained valuable experience navigating complex regulatory environments.

He is a trusted advisor to several European and African governments on matters related to cannabis regulation, particularly in the areas of medical cannabis, patient access, non-medical regulations and sustainability by leading the charge on certifying hemp-based materials for high-value carbon credits. Under his leadership, Augur has produced widely recognised white papers and reports that have helped shape international debates and national regulatory frameworks. His work often bridges policy, advocacy, and market, contributing to a more transparent, fair and health-centred approach to cannabis legislation.

Benjamin brings a thoughtful, research-driven perspective to the evolving conversation around cannabis in Europe and France, combining expertise in international law, public health, and stakeholder engagement.
