Anthony Coniglio is co-founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of NewLake Capital Partners, a leading cannabis net lease real estate investment trust that provides capital to experienced state-licensed cannabis operators through sale-leaseback transactions, third-party purchases as well as funding for expansions and build-to-suit projects. Since NewLake’s inception in 2019, Anthony has been at the forefront of creating the second-largest independent owner of cannabis real estate in the United States. He led capital raising, a key merger for the company in early 2021, and the Company’s IPO later that year. Today, NewLake owns a diversified portfolio of 33 properties across 12 states that are operated by experienced, well-capitalized medical and adult-use operators like Trulieve, Curaleaf, and Cresco.
As CEO, Anthony is at the forefront of NewLake‘s strategic growth, supporting the company’s expansion in new and existing markets, maintaining shareholder relations, and driving the company towards its next phase of scale. Anthony is also an advocate for the industry, speaking at conferences and lobbying political leaders for legislative change. Anthony is an experienced NYSE Board member, Advisory Board Member, Speaker, Volunteer, and recipient of United Hospital Fund’s 2018 Distinguished Trustee Award. Anthony has served on the Board of Directors for St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children for over a decade and currently serves as Chair of the Audit Committee.
