Senator, Council of Paris Member & Former Deputy Mayor of Paris
With a background in public health and harm-reduction policy, Anne Souyris is a Paris-based French Senator who has built a reputation as a leading progressive voice on healthcare access and drug policy reform in France.
At the Senate, Souyris has been a consistent advocate for modernising France’s approach to cannabis — pushing for a clear legal framework to move medical cannabis beyond its pilot phase. She has repeatedly called on the government to provide regulatory certainty for patients and providers, positioning herself at the forefront of France’s evolving medical cannabis debate, and making her a timely speaker at Cannabis Europa in Paris.
