Cannabis Europa London, Barbican Centre

Cannabis Europa's inaugural summit present the ideas and predicted trends that shaped the future of the medicinal cannabis market in the UK and beyond, setting the scene for the UK’s legalisation of cannabis six months later.

Cannabis Europa’s debut at London’s Barbican centre brought industry leaders from a wide range of different disciplines including science, business and politics together to share their cutting-edge research, expertise and knowledge on the budding European cannabis market. It was an opportunity for patients, advocates, business innovators, politicians, researchers and industry leaders to network and learn about the challenges and opportunities this emerging market can present.

The conference took place at London’s landmark Barbican Centre, one of the world’s most acclaimed brutalist architecture complexes. Over 400 innovators, entrepreneurs and policymakers convened under the greenery of the Barbican conservatory to address the challenges of the European market and the legislative and regulatory complexity of UK cannabis policy, igniting reform in the capital six months later.
