Dr. David Tang

Dr David Tang qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ medical school in 2007 and has been a Consultant in Emergency Medicine since 2021, having worked with the military and several elite sports teams during his training.

His determination to find solutions for patients who are poorly served by the healthcare system and big pharma led him to the medical cannabis space where he prescribes for patients with musculoskeletal and chronic conditions that are resistant to conventional treatment.

As Medical Director at the Jorja Emerson Centre David’s hope is that he can spearhead and drive medical innovation to find and provide safe and effective treatment options for patients in need.

David recognises that patient safety is largely data driven and by sitting on this panel can promote outcome data driven practice by the various medical cannabis clinics. Things need to be done in the right way.
