Crispin Blunt

MP BRITISH PARLIAMENT

Crispin Blunt was elected to Parliament as the MP for Reigate in 1997. He has held a number of Opposition frontbench roles, with briefs covering Northern Ireland, trade and energy, and security and counter-terrorism. From May 2010 until September 2012 he was Minister for Prisons, Probation and Youth Justice and from June 2015 to May 2017, he served as Chairman of the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Select Committee. Crispin is currently co-chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Drug Policy Reform, co-chair of the All Party Parliamentary Humanist Group, co-chair of the new APPG for London’s Green Belt as well as the secretary of the APPG on Global LGBT Rights.
